Go Short Student Campus

Go Short Student Campus

Building up attention, awareness and an audience for your film

It’s time for already our 5th Go Short Student Campus! Past editions were a great success and have brought new skills and experiences to the lives of former campus participants. Want to be part of this select group and also experience what these young film students have experienced? Then sign up now!

The Go Short Student Campus brings emerging filmmakers and established film professionals together and offers you a unique and intensive program. This year the campus will focus on financing, marketing and distribution of your films. Having problems funding your new film idea? And when the film's done, how do you reach the right audience? All this takes place against the backdrop of the 5th edition of Go Short - the International Short Film Festival Nijmegen 2013 - a festival with more than 300 short films, lectures, debates, network events and parties.

The shape of this year’s campus is almost 100% complete, the students have been selected and the guest speakers are ready for their professional insight into the world of filmmaking, pitching, financing and distribution. Among the guest speakers are Floris Parlevliet (Cinecrowd), who will talk about crowdfunding your films, Andrea Posthuma from MEDIA Desk, pitching expert Edo van Santen, Malka Jonas from IDFA Forum and a Q&A with animator Hisko Hulsing (Junkyard).
The campus starts on March 12 and Breaking Ground will bring you daily reports and photo’s to give everyone a better picture of what the 15 European students are undergoing in Nijmegen. Make sure to visit our Facebook and website to find out more!
