Last Migratory Bird to be found on NPO Doc

Don't miss one of the last of the short NPO Docs broadcasted in 2014. Migratory Bird a spectacular documentary directed by Finnish filmmaker Katja Lautamatti, can still be caught on TV this Thursday (19:34) and Friday (10:33). An emotional film about young Nigerian girl living in Lebanon, having to deal with the downsides of immigration from an early age, beautifully portrays problematics of our current society, cleverly filtered by a young and still innocent mind.

Shortest Day, Longest Party

We are of course talking about a viewing party... Go Short, IFFR and EYE have once again joined forces and have put together an awesome program of shorts which will be screened in over 18 cinemas throughout the Netherlands on December 21st. But if you don't feel like going out, we'll be bringing the party to your house! Together with NPO Cultura, we too will be celebrating the European Day of the Short Film, with a set of fabulous shorts. And if you're hungry for more (after all lots of shorts fit in a day, even if that happens to be the shortest day), do check out our Vimeo channel for the best student films!

Best of 2014

Right, if there's one thing that can be said of December, is that it's the month of lists and best of top and we're just buzzing with excitement for the special treat our friends from Kriterion and Cineville have in store for you. Vote until December 21st for your favorite movies of 2014 and win the chance of seeing them once again in the cinema on January 4th. How cool is this?

Bring it on, 2015!

New year, new events, same mind-blowing programs, same standard of quality! And to prove it, we're inviting you to check this out for yourself on January 15th for our Breaking Ground in Kriterion screening. Save the date and watch this space or our Facebook page for upcoming details!
