Go Short Student Campus

Go Short Student Campus

The first edition of the Go Short Student Campus focused on introducing different film students and their visions to each other. Also they were given the opportunity to get to know more aspects of filmmaking, following directing classes with actor Waldemar Torrenstra and director Jens Jonsson and eventually pitching and presenting their very own film plan. 2009 was the year in which we first started using the theme of European Identity and European films, trying to find out what different upcoming filmmakers think of it and how they could put it in to use in the practical field.
This first edition gave everyone the chance to find out what was missing in the educational area and what we could do to enhance the curriculum of European film students. The evaluations of the campus and the experiences have given Breaking Ground the chance to find a direction for the upcoming years and to have become where we are now with the Go Short Student Campus.
