Auke de Vries was born in Zwijndrecht, the Netherlands in 30 March 1989. He studied Animation at St.Joost Art and Design Academy in Breda (the Netherlands). Auke de Vries lives in Breda and is currently working as a Freelance Animator and Motion Graphics Designer.

"The Super Rope Solution" is his graduation film for his Bachelor of Design's degree. The movie was made in about 7 months and it was premiered 29 june 2011.
