Breaking Ground NL

The first edition of the year 2012 will have two significant changes. One, it will take place on a new day and two, it will take place at a new location. So come to the next edition on Friday April 13 at 19:30 at the new building of the EYE Film Institute Netherlands at IJpromenade 1 in Amsterdam Noord.

Back on board is Frank Hoeve who will present the program together with the guest of the evening, producer Marleen Slot (Viking Films).
The program consists of five Dutch student films and an extra Breaking Ground screening which will be the winner of this years Breaking Shorts competition at the Go Short International Short Film Festival in Nijmegen. 

The films:

"Lessen in Succes" by Joep van Osch (Nederlandse Film- & Televisieacademie)

"Tape Generations" by Johan Rijpma (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht)

"Liquid Sun" by Diede van Vree (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht)

"Meta" by Jurriën Boogert (Willem de Kooning Academie)

"Cogitatio Creo" by Niels de Haar  (Willem de Kooning Academie)

And the winner of Breaking Shorts 2012 is:

"9 Scenes of Violence" by Michael Krotkiewski from Sweden
